Hello, this is Director Cho Young-min.
Among the more than 1,400 clinics in Korea that offer Ulthera, Cheongdam Anz Dermatology Clinic has been selected as an Ulthera Full Face clinic.

This is truly wonderful news :)
The latest Ulthera Full Face designation reportedly comes with clear selection criteria.
First, use a sufficient number of shots per patient.
High-volume clinics often use only around 200 to 300 shots, which does not meet the standard Ulthera protocol. Of course, partial treatments such as only the double chin or only the jawline can use fewer shots. However, for a typical once-a-year maintenance plan, around 500 shots for patients in their 30s to 40s and around 600 shots for those in their 40s to 50s are needed to see the full benefits of Ulthera.
Second, make good use of all three Ulthera tips.
As many of you know, Ulthera is a device primarily used for lifting. Its current treatment protocol is dual-depth treatment, which delivers energy to the fascia and fibrous septa to tighten tissue. The 4.5 mm and 3.0 mm tips are mainly used for this.
Did you know there is also a 1.5 mm tip?

The 1.5 mm tip creates thermal coagulation points in the upper dermis to stimulate collagen regeneration. It can therefore be used to improve skin texture, pores, and fine lines.
Finally, clinics that make good use of all three tips across the full face, from the forehead to the double chin and neck, are reportedly the ones that meet the selection criteria.
Cheongdam Anz Dermatology Clinic has been performing full-face Ulthera treatments since the day we opened.
I believe we became an Ulthera Full Face clinic because we have treated the entire face with Ulthera from the very beginning, and because of our patients' high satisfaction and the steady stream of returning patients.
The 1.5 mm tip is used in many areas, including fine lines around the eyes, brow ptosis, lower eyelid firmness, cheek pores, vertical lip lines, and horizontal neck lines. It is also a good alternative for patients who did not see significant firmness improvement with Thermage.
There are many lifting devices available, but none appear to rival Ulthera yet.

A word of advice to everyone reading this: even at the lowest price, 400 shots costs close to 1 million won. Please don't waste that money at a clinic that treats patients carelessly. It's worth paying a little more for a clinic that truly understands Ulthera, watches the ultrasound monitor, and plans each treatment before performing it. :)
Wishing everyone beautiful results!!!
Frequently Asked Questions
What is Ulthera Full Face treatment?
The post describes it as a method of treating the entire face with Ulthera, from the forehead to the double chin and neck. It explains that Ulthera is a device primarily used for lifting, delivering energy to the fascia and fibrous septa to tighten tissue.
How many shots are typically used for Ulthera?
It varies by age. The post suggests around 500 shots for patients in their 30s to 40s and around 600 shots for those in their 40s to 50s. These guidelines assume once-a-year maintenance, and the post notes that low shot counts of about 200 to 300 do not meet the standard Ulthera protocol.
What is the Ulthera 1.5 mm tip used for?
The post explains that the 1.5 mm tip creates thermal coagulation points in the upper dermis to stimulate collagen regeneration, and that it can be used to improve skin texture, pores, and fine lines. It also says the tip is used for fine lines around the eyes, brow ptosis, lower eyelid firmness, cheek pores, vertical lip lines, and horizontal neck lines.
Can it be an alternative if Thermage did not work well?
Yes. According to the post, the Ulthera 1.5 mm tip has become a good alternative for patients who did not see significant firmness improvement from Thermage. However, this is the clinic's own description, so please treat it as reference information only.
How should I choose an Ulthera clinic?
The post advises choosing a clinic that truly understands Ulthera and plans treatments while watching the ultrasound monitor, rather than deciding on price alone. The point is that checking the treatment process is more important than choosing based on a low price.
